Head Creative Wanderer, founder and Editor-in-Chief Michael M Clements is truly an expert in travel, having spent two decades exploring the world and writing for luxury travel magazines and travel guide books. His work has appeared in Capitol File magazine, DC Magazine, Los Angeles Confidential, Aspen Peak Magazine, Gotham, Hamptons, Ocean Drive, Washington Life Magazine, District Fray Magazine, The China Daily and HK Magazine, among others. He was the editor of Night+Day Hong Kong and Night+Day Shanghai (Pulse Guides Cool Cities Series) travel books. He is the former Editor in Chief of Capitol File Magazine, executive editor of Washington Life Magazine, and was a member of the White House Correspondents Association from 2017-2019. He is the founder and CEO of creative consultancy and creative business incubator, Genki Media LLC and the exited founder and CEO of the international paint and sip brand, ArtJamz. Clements is American by birth but currently lives in Bali, Indonesia—he lived previously in Japan and Hong Kong for seven years and speaks Japanese, Cantonese, Spanish and Bhasa. He is an accomplished author, actor, artist, poet, producer and filmmaker with a MA in International Communication from The American University, School of International Service in Washington DC with a minor in Cultural Anthropology.
